Basic skills include picking your ingredients, selecting a recipe, milling fresh flour, mixing, kneading, shaping and rising the dough, and, of course, baking the bread. We will also enjoy eating some fresh baked bread, still warm from the oven.
Advanced classes include slow rising techniques such as artisan loaves and sourdough bread. Beginning classes are suitable for any level of baking experience. Children are welcome if they are old enough to participate attentively and are supervised by a parent. Advanced classes are suitable for those with at least some bread baking experience.
The cost for each class is $10 per person, with $20 maximum per family.
Classes are available for the following dates and times. Class style is determined by the needs and desires of those who sign up first!
