A Full Larder and an April Bulk Foods Order!

Would anyone like a little bit of wheat???  We have plenty on hand!!!

We go to great lengths to sell the highest quality grains to our bread baking customers.  Once a year that includes cleaning out the garage (a major undertaking in itself!) and hauling in 4,000 pounds of grain shipped directly from Wheat Montana Farms.  All of Wheat Montana products are certified chemical free and non-GMO.

The Prairie Gold and Bronze Chief wheat berries mill beautifully and bake up into delicious yeast breads.

The Spelt berries are an excellent choice for either yeast breads or non-yeast breads (talk about delicious buttermilk biscuits!)

The Soft Wheat berries are and excellent choice for muffins, cookies and quick breads.

If you are not sure what kind of wheat you need for the things you’d like to bake, just drop us a note and we’ll point you in the right direction!

Bethlehem Harvest’s April Grain Order

Bethlehem Harvest works with two main product suppliers.  One is Wheat Montana Farms, whose products we restock every nine months or so, and the other is a local whole foods distributor from whom we order on a monthly basis.  Our price list reflects products that are available from both of these suppliers.  We update our price list monthly to reflect the specials being offered by our local distributor.  Our Wheat Montana prices will remain the same until we restock from them – likely near the end of 2017.

We are getting ready to place our April order with our local distributor, so it is time to consider your family’s needs for the coming month.  Here is our April price list:  Bethlehem Harvest Product List – April 2017   There are so many products available – all at great bulk discount prices.  Although we feature products for bread bakers, we really provide many products that are helpful to families who want to eat “real food” straight from the farm.  Check out our list of gluten free grains, legumes, dried fruit, nuts and baking supplies of all sorts.  If you are shopping for a particular product for your family and you don’t see it on our list, just drop us a note at bethlehemharvest@gmail.com and we will see what we can do for you!

How to Place an Order: Check out our price list (Bethlehem Harvest Product List – April 2017) and then just drop us an e-mail at bethlehemharvest@gmail.com.  We will reply to confirm the receipt of your order and to answer any questions you might have.  If you don’t hear from us, that means we didn’t hear from you!

April Order Deadline: The order deadline this month is Sunday, April 16th – yes, that is Easter Sunday, so we’ll give you a little grace if you don’t get your order in until Monday (but shhhh – don’t tell!).  I (Gail) will be traveling on Tuesday, April 18th, so you will have to give me a little grace if I don’t get back to you right away – but I will confirm your order!

April Open House:  It is our practice to hold an Open House two days each month so that customers can pick up their orders at a time that suits their schedule.  This month our Open House dates will be Saturday, April 22nd and Monday, April 24th.  I will still be out of town, so you will be welcomed and cared for by my wonderful husband, Bob, and my two remarkable sons, Bobby and Michael.  🙂  You can come to our home in Friendswood any time between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on either date to pick up your order or to make purchases from the supplies we have on hand.  If you can’t come to pick up your order on either of those days, just let us know and we will make a plan that will accommodate your schedule and ours.  We will bend over backwards to meet the needs of customers who are traveling a distance to pick up an order, so please, let us know how we can best serve your family!

A Delivery Option for our Sugarland Area Customers:  Melissa Chapman has offered to pick up your Bethlehem Harvest order and bring it to her home in Missouri City on Wednesday, April 26th.  You can pick up your products at her house that afternoon.  If you’d like to take advantage of this service, we will add a $10 fee to your order of any size.

A Note to our Gluten Free Customers:  We have reorganized our product list to put all of the gluten free grains in one place – making it easier for you to find what you need.  Of course our legumes and many of our baking products are also gluten free.  Although we are bread bakers at heart, we also care about meeting your needs too!  If there is a product that would help you to feed your family and feel your best, please let us know how we can help out!
